1. Data and scenario description

To perform a dynamic simulation, the following data are required:

• Static data — Network topology and initial power-flow solution that define the operating point.

• Dynamic data — Models used to initialise and simulate the dynamic response of system components.

• Solver settings — Numerical solver configuration (time-step, tolerances, parallelism, etc.).

• Disturbance description — Events to be applied during the simulation (generator trips, faults, parameter changes).
